Alison Bennett is an Emmy-nominated writer/producer for television and film. She is currently Co-Executive Producer for FOX’s “Animal Control.” She was recently Co-EP on “Kevin,” co-created by Aubrey Plaza and Joe Wengert, coming soon to Amazon!
Alison has worked on everything from twenty-two episode network comedies to ten-episode “streamium” shows, from writing to production to post. She spent years on an overall deal at 20th Television, where she was staffed on shows like “Single Parents” (ABC), “LA to Vegas” (FOX), and the Children’s & Family Emmy-nominated “Doogie Kamealoha, MD” (Disney+). Throughout her deal, Alison also developed and supervised multiple pilots for networks under the Disney umbrella.
Prior to Alison’s time at 20th, she wrote for FX'/Xs critically acclaimed comedy "You’re The Worst." On the feature side, she’s sold projects to MRC, SONY and Netflix.
Alison lives in Los Angeles but originally hails from Central Pennsylvania, in a town where the federal penitentiary staged a haunted house for the public every year. Alison received her BFA in drama from Syracuse University and is an alum of the Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre New York. She is a graduate of the WGA’s Showrunner Training Program.
